A person from is now 40 and he has a problem of fear, and sometimes getting into very high loss of energy and suffers from hardships. This has been going on from his youth. he was also beaten by some terrorist along the line. His name is Azael, People thinks that its because of his name that he does not recover, should we change his name? If so to what?

Shalom ,    If a person would want to change the name , place or actions then they can change their circumstances /mazal.  they should go to a local congregation and choose a name that the person feels most connected to. During the sabbath or mon / Thursday  Torah reading they should arrange to consult with the local rabbi and decide upon a name.  During the aliya to the Torah they can be called up by the newly chosen name    Hopefully this should help.   Best Wishes——— R.Yosef Karpman
