Shalom ,  The sensitivities of the two people are tuned to each other and a person shares energy through touch which is why after an Aliya to the Torah a person shakes hands to share energy with others. People who date so as to find a marriage partner need to be clear in their decision making which touch makes difficult since they judge the potential partner more favorably then they should.  A connection built through touch is not necessarily a bad one but the likelihood of getting overly confused during such a relationship is high because the added emotional investment that touch brings.    The decision to marry is challenging enough without the touching element with it infatuation can lead to major difficulties and eventually divorce.     hope this clarifies the issue——   R.Yosef Karpman
