Shalom, First one needs to completely stop doing the sin. As long the sin is being done one can't do proper Teshuvah and fix the blemish. So first and most important is to stop 100% doing the sin. The next thing is to educate other and convince others to stop doing the sin and assisting others who educate on this topic.
