Shalom Rabbi,
First let me say I really enjoy listening to your lectures. I am a faithful follower. During one of your lectures you used a story about a carrot, an egg, and coffee. To illustrate how we can chose to handle life's situations. I really enjoyed that story! I am studying to be a Maggid. My teacher requested that I retell a story I enjoyed and to cite the source and origin. Which leads me to you... You are my original source but, if you can recall the story, where did you here it and do you know it's author? Thank you Sir.

I am very happy to hear you are growing spiritually and putting effort into your work.
Unfortuantly I don't know the source of this story, I myself heard it many years ago in a lecture and the great message behind it got stuck in my memory
Sorry I could not have been an assistance, but at least we learnt a good message out of this story
