Why do I feel sick when I pray?

Rabbi, sometimes when I pray I feel sick. When I wrap Tefillin or pray Shemoneh Esrei I can get this weird feel of nausea which almost always brings me to my knees. I am never afraid, it doesn't feel like that. It just feels as if something is trying to keep me from praying. It goes away when I stop, and when I say the Shema. It comes back when I start again praying again. It has never kept me from finishing my prayers. I am just curious as to what HaShem means by this. Also I am days away from conversion. (Not sure if that may have something to do with it) I hope to hear from you soon, thank you very much Rabbi Alon Anava. May HaShem bless you.

Shalom, Most likely these feelings you feel is because you are not done with your conversion and therefor your soul is not placed 100% in the body. I believe it will stop once you complete your conversion 100% If it does not stop after your conversion, please contact me again All the best, Rabbi Alon Anava
