Dear Rabbi Anava, In your shiur "Moshiach is Coming", you talk about Matanot L'Eviyonim (Gifts to the Poor) being one of the ways to help us have the z'chus to be part of the Geulah. Does this mitzvah refer only to doing chessed to Jews, or can it also apply to non-Jews if one is living outside Eretz Yisroel? Thank you so much.

Shalom, Doing chessed (Acts of kindness and charity) can defiantly be done to non-Jews and especially when you leave outside Israel and away from Jews. Just make sure the charity does not go to idol worshippers All the best R. Anava
