Hello Rabbi Anava
I'm married for 20 years BH. My husband is a nice man from a religious family. We r both Persian. My husband was send to America when he was 16 years old. His uncles sent him to yeashiva right after his arrival. He was in Yeshiva for 6 years against his will. He keeps Shabat and Kashrut and has strong religious hashkafot. He davens a 10 minutes Shacharit at home. Sometimes he goes to shul on Shabat. If I push him to go to shul and also have some learning, he says okay but then it gets worse. I've been davening for him by the Shabat candles. I need your help to make him more religious.

Shalom, Pushing someone to become more observant will never work. You need to show him the beauty of the Torah. Unfortuantly, you as his wife can not do much as you are to close to him and most likely he will not listen to you. I would suggest to mainly give a live example. If you want him to pray, then you should pray. If you want him to learn Torah, then you should learn Torah. Another thing you can do is invite once a week a Rabbi to your home to give over a Torah class and invite some of your friends to attend, that way there will be the light of the Torah in your home. Needless to say you must pray to Hashem to help you, give charity in his name, make sure someone is learning Torah in his name and do Mitzvot in his name and merit. Please watch this video How can I save my loved ones before Mashiach comes at 17:30 I am giving advice to someone with the same question and explaining there a pray you can say on Shabbat that is very powerful Wishing you great success Alon Anava
