Does everyone meet their soulmate in this life?

Hi Rabbi Anava,, I believe that I met my soul-mate 40 years ago but she married someone else. I am 61 years old (gentile). My friend was an observant Jewess and her father wanted her to marry a Jew, but a religious one at that. At this age I wonder if I will ever have a mate. Sometimes Hashem says no and some people stay single all their life. Thank you very much for answering my question. I have watched many of your videos and have learned much. Thanks again!

Shalom, Unfortuantly not everyone finds their true other half, BUT, I would not necessarily say that you won't. I know many people who found their other half in their 60s and even 70s. If you believe G-d can do a miracle, then that opens the possibility for the miracle to happen. Sometimes G-d is testing your belief in him and once you prove that you totally believe in him and trust he can do anything, you are building the vessel for the blessing to dwell and G-d can surprise you when ever he wants and how ever he wants, just believe and trust in G-d and you might see miracles. I will take this opportunity to bless you that you will find your true soul mate and your real other half and have the merit to build a home in this life time! Wishing you great success Rabbi Alon Anava
